WHAT MAKES ME SPECIAL:
Scout is a handsome, hound mix. He is estimated to be approximately 2-3 years old, and he is a little timid in new situations. When he is relaxed his whole face lights up! He is a medium-large sized fellow and he loves his toys and treats.
Oh our sweet, good looking Scout. He has been special to us since his birth in 2019. Our hearts broke when we got the call from the shelter that Scout was surrendered. He was a Dogrrr from birth; while we always take our dogs back he was surrendered to the shelter as part of the "return crisis". He is a good boy and we can't imagine why he was surrendered. He has shown nothing but love, sweetness and innocence.

Scout fought the odds of distemper death. His poor mom was in the shelter and not treated well while being pregnant, we worked hard to get her out so she would not get exposed to possible illness but unfortunately due to protocal she had to stay in the shelter, while we did get her before the babies were born she and her babies got distemper. They struggled to survive and Scout was the lone survivor along with his beautiful mom Linda.
You may remember the videos of the two pair of pregnant girls dragged into a shelter. Scared out of their minds; sweet Linda gave birth two weeks later. She seemed so relieved to be safe and able to decompress in a foster home before she delivered her pups.
