Jill Clay
Jill found Dallas DogRRR as an adopter in 2019. After learning more about Dallas DogRRR, She became hooked and started volunteering as an adoption processor. She ultimately moved into role of Adoption Coordinator where her ultimate goal is to help match pups with their furever homes.
Jill had been in rescue for 15 years prior to volunteering with Dallas DogRRR. After losing her 1st pup to a liver shunt, she knew she wanted to help other dogs in need, but was not ready to adopt. She found an organization in Austin, and started fostering. She took on the medical cases because she was right around the corner from the orthopedic surgeon. She was able to help pups with physical therapy and ending up soaked after many rounds of hydrotherapy in my tub, but she loved every minute. She was able to watch the pup transform from an injured scared pup to a happy and energetic pup who was ready for a home. Jill says fostering also healed her and allowed her to honor her 1st pup’s memory. She says watching Dallas DogRRR take “last chance pups” and turn them into a pup with a furever home, is what drives her to help DogRRR with its mission!
