Celebrating Pipi Poppins’ 7th Birthday!

Today, we are thrilled to celebrate a very special birthday—Pipi Poppins is turning 7 years old! This sweet girl has had quite the journey, and we want to share her story with all of you.

Pipi Poppins was rescued on May 30, 2019, along with her two puppies. She spent some time in foster care, where she won the hearts of everyone she met. She was adopted but unfortunately returned, and since February 7, 2021, Pipi has been in boarding. Despite these challenges, Pipi has remained a resilient and loving dog.

Pipi is a fantastic dog who would make a wonderful addition to any home. She’s great with people and just needs the right family to see how special she truly is. We believe every dog deserves a forever home, and we’re hopeful that Pipi’s birthday wish will come true—finding a loving foster or adoptive family.

Fun Facts About Pipi Poppins

1. Lover of Love: Pipi is an absolute sweetheart and loves to give kisses right on the lips if you’ll let her!

2. Squirrel Hunter Extraordinaire: One of Pipi’s favorite games is hunting squirrels. If they are out there, she will find them and quickly send them on their way!

3. Water Enthusiast: Pipi loves a good soak on a hot day to cool off.

4. Outdoor Adventurer: She loves to be outside and is happiest with a long walk in open spaces (just keep those pesky bicycles away!).

5. Leash Skills: Pipi is Canine Good Citizen certified! She does great on walks and would benefit even more from being in a home with someone who can work with her consistently. She can get distracted easily—squirrel!!!

6. Calm and Cool: Pipi is generally a chill girl who gets along well with other dogs after getting to know them. She thinks cars and bikes should slow down and enjoy the moment like she does.

7. Rodent Control Expert: Pipi was once offered a job at Tractor Supply to help with rodent control. Who needs a cat when you have Pipi?!

8. Fitness Partner: Pipi can show off her puppy push-ups and would make a great workout partner.

9. Friendly and Social: Pipi meets new people very well and loves to please.

10. Training Goals: We’re working on desensitization with her nemesis—the bicycle.

11. Ideal Home: Pipi would do best in a moderate activity household with kids 5+. She’d love 1-2 walks a day or playing in the backyard.

12. Daily Routine: Pipi spends her mornings playing in the yard with her bestie and then settles easily for a siesta after lunch.

13. Toy Lover: Pipi loves working with her flirt pole and catching anything that squeaks!

14. Perfect Sidekick: Pipi would love to show off her manners during school pick-ups or by helping host book club. She’s adaptable and happiest with you by her side.
