Champ's Transformation: From Chains to Canine Good Citizen

Champ's story began in the most heartbreaking way imaginable. He was discovered in a homeless camp, chained to a tree with a heavy logger chain and padlock cruelly fastened around his neck. The chain had dug into his skin, causing immense suffering. Despite these unbearable conditions, Champ remained friendly towards people and other dogs, a testament to his incredible spirit.

Thankfully, a compassionate soul intervened and refused to turn a blind eye to Champ's unimaginable state. He was rescued from his dire circumstances, and his journey to recovery began. This big, strong, loving, and loyal boy was ready to leave his painful past behind and find a loving forever home.

Today, Champ is fully recovered and looking for his forever home.

Champ is part of our prestigious Super Dogs program, where we take extraordinary steps to turn our long term boarding dogs into exceptional companions. He's working diligently on his Canine Good Citizen training with his dedicated Super Human volunteer. The progress Champ has made during this training is amazing, especially when considering the sad past he lived.

While Champ's social skills with other dogs are improving, due to his high energy and excitement, proper introductions may be necessary. However, once he forms a bond, Champ becomes the best of pals with his canine companions. As for cats or other pets, his curiosity might lead to chasing if they run, so we recommend slow, careful introductions.

Champ's high energy level makes him a perfect match for an active family, especially one with teenagers who can keep up with his enthusiasm. He thrives on a consistent routine, so we anticipate that his energy will settle once he's in a loving home.

Champ has some favorite pastimes, including enjoying car rides. He's the ideal companion for those who are always on the go, ready to embark on new adventures together.

Currently, Champ is in boarding and urgently needs a foster or adopter who is willing to continue his training journey. He longs for a loving family to experience the joys of life with.

Champ's story is heartbreaking, but it's also filled with hope and the promise of a brighter future. Please consider adopting or sharing his story to help him find the loving family he so desperately deserves.

It's amazing to see how he has overcome such adversity and is now on the path to finding a loving forever home. I'm sure Champ's story will touch many hearts and hopefully lead to him finding the perfect family. By the way, have you heard about the time card calculator?
