Daniela Sweet Angel was Scalped with a Machete! See Her Transformation

Updated: Mar 30, 2022

Very Graphic Photos - We will not be posting them on our website but they can be seen censored on our social media post. View the full post here.

Daniela was attacked by a human with a machete! Yes, this act of violence really happened on purpose. Why would someone do this to an innocent creature?!

I am at a loss for words, I really thought I had seen it all but this tops the cases I have seen. This sweet girl was from Mexico. They rushed her across the border to get her to the ER.

When she was brought in, she was wagging her tail, thankful to be saved.

She arrived at the ER for emergency surgery to care for her open wound and save her. When she was admitted, she had Ehrlichiosis, her bloodwork showed dehydration. There was quite a bit of skull and tissue showing from where she had been sliced on the head with the machete knife.

We are so grateful to the people who rushed to get her across the border and into the US to save her life.

Unfortunately, the people in the town she came from are not going to step up and report anything they may have witnessed. The horrendous acts done to her will go unpunished. It is heartbreaking that this can happen.

Daniela has made a full recovery now and found a forever home! This is the kind of transformation we strive for every day at Dallas Dog. From neglected, abused, lost for all hope, to loved and cared for in a forever home.

Daniela's story truly represents all we will do to help a dog in need. She was Rescued and Rehabilitated and hopefully, her story can lead to the Reform of the treatment of animals.

Please consider making a donation to help Dallas Dog continue to make life-saving efforts and change the lives of other dogs in need.
