Meet Esmeralda, a mama dog with a heart full hope. Found under a house, she was brought to a shelter with her precious puppies, where they waited for weeks with no rescues and no support in sight. Desperate times called for desperate measures, and with their time running out, we knew we had to act.
Determined to save them, we took in Esmeralda and her six puppies, despite being at full capacity. While the puppies found loving foster homes, Esmeralda remained in a foster home in the south, hoping for her chance at a better life. However, despite her urgent need, no one has stepped up to foster her.
What does Boarding mean for Esmeralda?
Boarding presents a solitary and isolating experience for dogs, devoid of the comfort and companionship found in a loving home with people. It's a stark contrast to the warmth and care they would receive in a foster home. To prevent this loneliness and ensure the well-being of these dogs, we need more fosters to step up and support our rescue efforts.
Esmeralda is a brave and loving mama who deserves so much more than a life in boarding. She deserves a chance at a loving home, where she can feel safe and cherished. Can you be her hero today and step up to foster?
