February 4, 2022- We are in desperate need of funds, we need to raise to cover over $30,000 for ten of our puppies who have the deadly Parvovirus. We are in the middle of a deadly outbreak.
Nothing like waking up to several text messages with sick puppies. We have not even yet raised the funds needed for the Frenchie 5 and now I have another puppy sick that just arrived at the ER with Parvo - and another one on the way to another ER!
Togo the husky puppy:
From Deana, our Medical Coordinator:
"I am devastated. Togo was fine yesterday but started throwing up overnight and having diarrhea. It took an hour to get the animal emergency hospital and he just tested positive for Parvo."
Deana continues, "He feels so miserable and is totally lethargic and not eating. He will require hospitalization which is usually $1500 or so a day. I’m heartbroken. The rescue will do everything they can to save him but we need help covering the cost. Please if you can donate, any amount would be appreciated. I don’t think our hearts can take another loss right now."
Please help Togo. His estimated emergency treatment to save his life is $7,000. We cannot save him without the much needed support of our community, DogRRR Nation!
Another puppy in our foster care tested positive for Parvovirus today. Marisol, a beautiful, sweet natured border collie mix.
Marisol does not deserve this. She is not eating, lethargic, throwing up and has diarrhea! She has 4 siblings, 2 have broken with parvo and the 2 others could break with the virus any day too. We are in emergency mode here, DogRRR Nation. These pups need our help.
Please HELP - DONATIONS NEEDED - We currently have 7 puppies who have tested positive for Parvo. We expect 4 more to break with parvo any day now. Our vet bills are adding up to over $32,000.
Parvovirus is a puppy killer. But we CAN fight it. In total, we are looking at over $32,000 to save the puppies. Our rescue depends on the generous contributions of our donors to save lives. Every dollar helps. Without you, we couldn't rescue. These pups deserve a happy life. Let's not let their lives end in suffering. Help us save them. Please. No amount is too small to reach our goal and save them all. Please scroll to the bottom of this post to view the emergency vet estimates. This is devastating.
Please. Donate to save their lives. Visit https://www.dallasdog.org/donate to contribute to their care.

Wow, very strong article, I think people sometimes forget that we have those we have to take care of and they are our little friends, regardless of whether the puppy has a breed or not. When I got my dog, I was very concerned about his adaptation to the new home, so I bought a camera to watch him from work, and tracking dog images also helped me to keep an eye on him until he grew up and became independent. As the years went by, he grew up and my worries diminished, but I will never forget the feeling you get in the first weeks of having him in the house.
